Product Description
You will look very spiffy in your captain??s cap. The crown is padded, to give you a rich look of importance, and the patch of gold anchors stitched against a black background will surely win you command of the seas. The crown is outfitted with 2 metal air vents on each side, and the hatband is covered in fabric with leaf stitching in a subtle black on black, with a brilliant gold rope detail across the front of the hatband fastened to the sides of the hat with matching gold relief buttons. Made of 100% twill cotton. The 2 inch bill is covered in matte plastic, and fabric lined on the underside. SIZES range from S, M, L, XL to fit every captain??s head. Imported.

Absolutely honest service - when I received the wrong product they shipped the right one immediately. They never asked for the crew hat back - but then again, the price had dropped on the captain's hat from $10 to $2 (and is now $5 - no clue why the fluctuation). The hat is fine enough for my 13yo for a sort of costume hat - it's not a thoroughly well-made product (I think is a little crooked but my kid didn't care), but great for the price.

So since Gorillaz released Plastic Beach and Jimmy Fallon had a Yacht Rock party on his show, I have been wanting to get a captain's hat just for the fun of it (and to make people look at me while wearing it and wonder why the hey I'm even wearing it). Well, this one hits the spot just right.
I made sure to do my research on the sizing before ordering, so make sure to measure your head before purchase and look at the sizing chart. I ordered a Large, which gives me enough room to wear a bandana or my hair in a high ponytail if I want and it still fits. Even without the bandana or my hair in a ponytail, it is still pretty snug. I didn't want an adjustable hat because they seem less authentic.
Also, this is a pretty inexpensive hat, which is great because I didn't want to spend too much on a captain's hat. So, if I ever lose the one I purchase, I know where I can go to get another one at a good price.
All in all, this is a super fun hat. I can't wait to go fishing off a dock and wear this while doing so, even if I'm not on a boat. It just would be so much fun to do so!

This hat was exactly what I was looking for! I bought it for a friend that had lost his at a concert. I was hesitant at all the ones I had seen online because I could not touch them, but decided to go with this one- I'm so glad I did! It was a perfect match.
